ITINERARY OF 14 DAYS MOROCCO TOUR

Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Rabat

This 14-day Morocco vacation departs from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. Our first stop will be the well-known Hassan II Mosque, an architectural wonder with views of the ocean. After that, we travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we explore iconic sites including the Oudayas Kasbah and Hassan Tower. We will drop you off at your Rabat lodging as the day draws to a close.

Day 2 : Rabat – Asilah – Tangier

After a filling breakfast at your hotel or riad in Rabat, head to Tangier, the meeting point of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. Discover Asilah along the way—a walled coastal village that blends local energy with Andalusian elegance. After that, we take a journey to Tangier, where we explore the interesting Cave of Hercules and the lovely Cape Spartal Beach to fully experience the city’s eclectic heritage. After that, settle into your Tangier hotel or riad and take in everything that the city has to offer.

Days 3: Tangier– Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen  

Travel to Chefchaouen, which is situated in the Rif Mountains, on an exciting adventure after enjoying a delectable breakfast at your hotel or riad. From Tangier, the two-hour journey offers expansive vistas of rolling hills and charming towns. Once you’re in Chefchaouen, settle into your riad or hotel and start your inquiry. The buildings in the city are renowned for their blue hue, which contributes to the romantic ambiance. Explore the busy souks, meander through the Medina’s narrow lanes, or relax at one of the charming cafes or restaurants serving mouthwatering Moroccan fare.

Day 4: Explore The Blue City Of Chefchaouen

We are going to spend the day appreciating Chefchaouen, the blue city. The city’s medieval medina has a laid-back vibe thanks to its blue-washed structures and amiable residents. Discover the small lanes and twisting pathways that crisscross the northern slope. Explore the main plaza, Plaza Outa el-Hammam, and have meals at neighborhood cafés or eateries. In the afternoon, climb the hill to the city walls, then take the walk to Hotel Atlas, where you may get a great view from the rooftop. Don’t overlook the eastward streets that lead to the white Spanish Mosque, which is located on a walk up the hill and provides a fantastic location for sunsets behind the mountains (20 to 30 minutes).

DAY 5: CHECHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES

Our trip to Fes will begin after breakfast. We will make a stop at the Volubilis Roman remains, which are protected by UNESCO, along the route. Founded in the third century BCE and abandoned over a millennium later, this enormous edifice was formerly a thriving metropolis in a distant part of the Roman Empire. Next, we proceed to Meknes, which was the capital of Morocco in the 17th century. Explore the quaint walled old town, which is home to the well-known Bab el Mansour gate. See the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a holy place devoted to the renowned Sultan Moulay Ismail, and marvel at the gate’s exquisite carvings and decorations. We’ll travel to Fes after lunch, where we’ll spend a relaxing evening in a stunning riad.

DAY 6: EXPLORE FES WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

Following breakfast at your riad, you’ll meet our local guide and explore the small, twisting alleyways of Fes medinas, immersing yourself in the city’s rich history and culture. The famous Bab Boujeloud gate in Fes el Bali (789 ACE) is the starting point of the exploratory tour, which continues until Talâa Kebira’s main avenue. As you go past shops and souks (markets) searching for gifts and mementos, take in the architecture with influences from Spain and Tunisia. See the age-old practices in action at the Chouara Tannery, which dates back to the eleventh century. See the intricate zellij tile work of the 14th-century Al Attarine Madrasa before moving on to the “new city” of Fes el Jdid (13th century). Savor expansive vistas of the city from the cemetery, the Mellah, and the historic Jewish district. If you have the time, explore Ville Nouvelle to witness the remarkable architectural transformation. We’ll end the day by giving you some free time to spend exploring Fes at your own pace before you go to your lodging.

DAY 7: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS – SAHARA DESERT

We start our vacation with a visit to Ifrane, which is sometimes called Morocco’s Switzerland. Here, you can capture stunning photos and marvel at the beauty of the town. Next, we visit Azrou’s cedar grove, which several entertaining monkeys call home. We grabbed lunch in Midelt after that. In the afternoon, we traverse the TIZI N TALGHAMT pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Ziz Valley and the gorges. We go through Aoufous and Erfoud, which are noted for their dates and fossils, on our way to Erg Chebbi Dunes. You may discover more about this unusual art form and take a tour of a fossil craft studio. After a long drive, we finally arrive in Erg Chebbi’s Merzouga Dunes, where you will check into your accommodation and enjoy a spectacular meal with Berber music. The hotel offers distinctive and cozy lodgings that let you completely enjoy the calm beauty of a desert night.

DAY 8: THE DESERT – VISIT NOMADS – CAMEL TREKKING – OVERNIGHT DESERT CAMP

Following a delicious breakfast, we drive to Khamlia village, where you will be treated to the enthralling rhythms of real Gnawa music. Then we’ll go off the usual route, exploring the dunes on an unpaved road and stopping for tea with nomads in traditional Berber tents. This immersive experience gives you a glimpse into a different way of life, and you’ll even get to eat Berber pizza for lunch. After unwinding at the hotel in the late afternoon, you’ll get ready for an amazing camel ride into the center of the dunes to see the magnificent sunset. After being welcomed with mint tea at the camp, you may unwind in your comfortable tents with private toilets and showers while the Sahara displays its breathtaking nighttime colors. Dinner is served, and while you dine, the group around the fire performs some music, adding to the romantic atmosphere of a starry Sahara night.

DAY 9: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ARFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – DADS VALLEY

To ensure you don’t miss this amazing sight, get up early today to see the magnificent dawn, when the dunes come to life with an enthralling display of colors and shadows. Following breakfast, you will return to Merzouga on your camel, meet your driver, and go to Dades Gorges.We will make a stop at the vibrant traditional market in Rissani along the route. When you wander through its busy streets on a market day—Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays—you’ll be met with a colorful display of colors, scents, and noises. We next make our way to Arfoud, where you may stop at a workshop that displays petrified marble. We will pause for lunch as we proceed through the charming palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. We’ll then take a car to the Todgha Gorges. There are breathtaking red cliff-sided canyons in A River that are ideal for rock climbing. Take your time exploring the gorges, strolling through the breathtaking surroundings, and taking in the beauty of nature all around you. Boumalne Dades is the route we take as we proceed to the Dades Valley. Along the route, stop to observe the well-known “monkey fingers” rock formations and a quaint location perched on a mountain with breathtaking views of the Dades Valley. Lastly, end the day with a hotel stay and dinner.

DAY 10: DADES GORGE –  AIT BEN HADDOU  –  HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS  – MARRAKECH

We will continue our excursion to Kalaa Magouna to visit the rose valley after breakfast.Attend the annual Rose Festival in May, when people showcase their rose-themed items, including oil, perfume, rose water, and decorations.It will take you past Skoura’s palms to get to Ouarzazate.See the film studios in Ouarzazate, where a number of well-known movies were filmed.Our first stop on the itinerary is the well-known Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a walled village that is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Numerous films and television shows, including Combatant, Alexander, The Mummy, and Diversion of Positions of Authority, have included scenes shot at this noteworthy Kasbah. We go to Marrakech over the Tizi-N-Tichka crossing and the High Atlas Mountains after exploring this well-known kasbah. Along the way, we’ll pause for lunch and take pictures at picturesque locations. We spent the night in Riad, Marrakech, to round up the day.

DAY 11: GUIDED TOUR IN MARRAKECH WITH LOCAL GUIDE:

Explore the “Red City of Morocco,” Marrakech, with a local tour after breakfast. You will see a number of historically and culturally significant locations with your guide, including the well-known Jemaa El Fna plaza, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Saadian tombs. Visit the Majorelle Gardens in the afternoon and have a quick look around Marrakech’s new city, which includes the Koutoubia tower. Lastly, transport you to your lodging. DAY 12: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA

Portuguese forts from the fifteenth century around Essaouira. This vibrant fishing town provides a unique blend of historical charm, color, and surf. Essaouira promises a lovely experience whether you want to stroll around the medina, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and features vibrant marketplaces and artisan businesses, or you want to lounge on sunny beaches. Through any of the city gates, the medina—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—is a delight to explore, making sure you don’t get lost with its blue doors and window frames. The intriguing beach is surrounded by a medina, which provides the perfect environment for leisure and cultural discovery. There are several charming terrace-style cafes around that are great for relaxing in your free time. As you visit the Medina and the woodcarving studios and artists, immerse yourself in the creative ambiance. DAY 13: ESSAOUIRA –  MARRAKECH

We’re going to travel back to Marrakech today after breakfast. This voyage is more than simply a transfer; it’s a visual tour of the nation and its many sights. You will have complete freedom to independently explore Marrakech.

DAY 14: MARRAKECH – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT:

 On the last day of your 14-day Morocco tour from Casablanca, we will pick you up and transfer you to the airport, concluding your memorable journey. Safe travels!
